Sach Gian Kaur (Gabrielle Congrave) holds her RYT-200 certification in Hatha yoga in the Himalayan Tradition from Yoga North's International SomaYoga Institute, and is one of the teachers at/founding members of the NorthWoods Yoga Collective. She completed a Kundalini Yoga Teacher apprenticeship with KRI-certified local teacher (and fellow NWYC member) Kathryn Gonzales. Other areas of personal/on-going study for Sach Gian Kaur include Ayurveda, somatics, and use of yoga to treat trauma survivors and addiction.

Sach Gian is happily married to her soulmate, Jake (Sat Gian Singh) Baggenstoss.  They have two beautiful children Claire (Seva Nam Kaur) and Jorah (Bachan Nam Singh).  Sach Gian is a survivor of the sex industry and in recovery from heroin addiction.  She writes about her experience of trauma, addiction, and healing in the zine "when the crash meets something solid" and on the her Practical Redemption Wordpress blog.  Sach Gian is currently wrapping up her BFA in creative writing at Bemidji State University, and enjoys bicycling, camping, swimming, writing, cooking, and underground publishing.  She and her husband own and operate Snotter Press.  Their Etsy shop Bemidji Zines carries many titles by northwoods writers and artists.
